Done with the IPL

Rajasthan Royals won it deservedly, Dhoni almost justified his billion-zillion price tag and with that IPL ends. With Royal Challengers having a horrid time, the dravid fan in me did not have much to cheer. But, my other hero, warne more than made up for it. It was a treat to watch him after a gap. Real treat. Take a bow warnie. Heroes never die.

Well, will people now miss IPL? or all the aunties in the whole world will not miss their daily soaps. /* Serial killers */. Time for Manoranjan ki maa to take it over may be.

But, I am really glad that its over. We were deprived of our 4 hours everyday (sad that, those 4 are after the office hours), and more during the weekends, just to watch a team score 160 and other to chase it down. /* Yawn */ Lifestyles of people in this entire one and half a month was differnet. I could not play my sports, could not read a book, could not call/sms friends. IPL took 'my time' away from me.

People might argue, 'if you dont want, you better dont watch. Dont make a fuss!'
Naah... Its not as simple as that. You will be tempted. Just like the aunties who could not sacrifice watching those soap/serials day in and day out even though every serial dish out the same old,repetitive stuff. Same goes here. If its cricket, Indians will just watch it. Period.

So, my sympathies for all the soap addicts, for missing their 50 odd episodes till now, and if you are opposing at the prospect of having two IPLs in a year, I am there for you, supporting.

Lalit modi, beware. Serial killers are hunting you.

Here I come...........

Lets start blogging.... This thought actually came to me a long time back.... But, I guess the force was not that strong.... And the time has come now and you guys can now be happy that i started..... So much to your happiness....

So, I have my blog now and you guys are benifited on getting a peek at what and how this genius mind works. Chalo, you guys have a blast reading it and yours truly will blog beautifully.

And now, just when i am about to start my blog, CNN IBN shows me a 'breaking news' that a blog is started by SRK too....

But, this poor guy Preetish here will actually have to send out SMSes/Mails tomorrow to the whole world that he has also started writing a blog, and you guys do come and see that. :(

Atleast no 'kkkk..kk...kiran' in my blog. Words will be spelt here very properly and at single stretch.
